Ingredients (Serves 2):

  • 200g spaghetti
  • 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Boil spaghetti in salted water according to package instructions. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water before draining.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic slices and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add red chili flakes and stir for 30 seconds.
  4. Toss the cooked spaghetti in the pan with the garlic oil. Add reserved pasta water to coat evenly.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle parsley, and serve with grated Parmesan if desired.

Recipe 2: Chocolate Chip Mug Cake

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (or oil)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. In a microwave-safe mug, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Microwave on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Let it cool slightly before enjoying.
